It’s Faithful Friday! Let’s share how we faithfully made it through the week. What did you face this week? What lessons did you learn? How did your faith carry you through?
This week brought a first for me – having a sick child at college.
My son texted me this week to say that he was sick. Nothing too major, it ended up being just a cold and ear infection. But, it was still difficult to have him three hours away instead of right here at home with me.
Instead of jumping into panic mode, I paused and prayed. I had to rely on the faith that God would take care of him and that the Holy Spirit would equip him to handle this on his own. And, he did! He made an appointment at the health center, got the necessary medicines he needed, and even ordered chicken soup to help him feel better. With a little TLC (learned from his momma I hope!) and some much needed rest, he is on the mend. Praise God! Jesus I trust in You!
How about you? What is your Faithful Friday experience this week? Please share in the comments section below.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. – Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
